I've been a big fan of the Firefox browser for a long time. One of the main reasons is that there are innumerable add-ins and extensions being developed all over the world which vastly improve its functionality. Being able to add an RSS feed with a single click is one feature that I use frequently.
Today I downloaded another extension from Japan, called ScrapBook. With ScrapBook, you can easily save web pages (whole or portions), and associate notes with these pages. Further, you can search your repository of saved pages/notes, all from the Firefox Sidebar.
One drawback to Firefox is that, on occasion, you will find a page which has been optimized for Explorer, and thus will not render properly in Firefox. Hotmail does this for me on occasion. Otherwise, it's a minor (and only occasional) nuisance.
